Lisa Marie’s dance training began at age 3. In fifth grade, Northland became her home where she danced with many companies; competing as a soloist and part of duets, trios and groups both locally and nationally. Following her high school graduation, Lisa Marie went on to study dance in college as well as with Zenon and Ballet Arts in Minneapolis, and various schools in New York and LA, and performed with a modern dance ensemble. Lisa Marie was a participant in the assistant teacher program at Northland. She moved through each level of the program including advanced scholarship assistant her junior and senior year. She went on to teach ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical and musical show at various studios. Her choreography has received High Score Awards at local and national competitions. Additionally, she has choreographed for a variety of theater productions including Annie, The Nutcracker Ballet, and Annie Get Your Gun.
