Jason Parsons

Jason ParsonsJason has been an inspired artist since he grew up in Rochester, NY. He has performed with companies such as River North, Mia Michael’s R.A.W., Dinyos Dance (Japan) and the POZ Dance Theater (South Korea). Industrial credits include Sony, BMW, DaeWoo and General Motors. He has danced with recording artist Diana King, SWV and Celine Dion and TV credits include “Fame L.A.”, “Star Search” and “The Essence Awards”. Jason has created work for Rasta Thomas’s Bad Boys of Dance, Odyssey, HoustonMet and the Evolution Dance Company. Internationally his work has been performed at the Gwang Ju Biennale Festival (South Korea), Baudelaire (Japan), Artedanza (Italy), Nokia Awards (Czech Rep.), Minjockchoom Cultural Festival (South Korea), Puglia Danza (Italy) and the Seoul Contemporary Dance Festival (South Korea). In 2007 Jason created a moving installation for an art exhibition in Milan. In 2008, Jason formed his own company called The Red Vern Collective, which premiered NYC. He is on faculty at Steps in NYC and has taught across the U.S., Canada, Italy, England, Japan, South Korea, Czech Republic and Cyprus.
