Born & raised in Minnesota, Lindsey Rebecca traded in gymnastics for dance, training at many studios around the Twin Cities, including Northland, in ballet, jazz, tap & lyrical until lettering in her high school dance team. Continuing to pursue her love of dance, she became an assistant director of a nonprofit modern dance ensemble throughout college. No stranger to competition or performing, Lindsey Rebecca danced in the Super Bowl XXVI halftime show with Gloria Estefan. Since then, Lindsey Rebecca has found a new love for dance in Ballroom and Latin dancing. Instructing ballroom since 2005, she finds the technical & competitive nature of ballroom dancing captures her passion and fuels her drive to spread her love of dance to all.
After training and teaching in Nashville, Connecticut & New York, Lindsey Rebecca has studied under Ballroom Champions like Toni Redpath, a former judge on So You Think You Can Dance as well as Nick Kosovich & Jonathan Roberts from Dancing With The Stars. She has had the privilage of working under Champions David Hamilton & Ben Ermis. And after obtaining a coveted dress sponsorship, traveling & competing all over the country, Lindsey Rebecca has returned home to Minnesota where it all began.
Now teaching group classes for adults, wedding couples, private lessons and building a competitive ballroom program for kids in dance studios all over the Twin Cities & surrounding areas. Now with competitive groups winning several Platinum Awards, many High Scores & Specialty Judge’s Choice Awards for Showmanship & Costume Design at top competitions like NYCDA, NUVO, HoF, Tribute, StarQuest & many more!
