Jennifer (Jiffy) Murphy
Jennifer – AKA Jiffy, began dance lessons at just 2 years old with Youngquist Performing Arts Company under the direction our own Linda Youngquist. At 13, Jiffy came to Northland as member of the Junior and then Senior Company where she remained until graduation.
As a Northland dancer, Jiffy has won numerous awards and has traveled both nationally and internationally for various dance opportunities. She has studied in such venues as West Coast Dance Explosion, New York City Dance Alliance, LA Dance Force and Break the Floor. She has had the privilege of studying with such greats as Marius Andahazy, Dee Caspery, Ray Leeper, and Mia Michaels.
Jiffy was chosen as part of an elite team who traveled to Sydney Australia to perform in the Olympic Venue for the 2000 Olympic Games.
One of Jiffy’s greatest joys is sharing her love for dance with young dancers, and she looks forward to everyday she is able to dance.
