Linda’s training began at age 2 with Virginia Luoma’s School of Dance in Crystal. She continued her post-high school training with St. Benedicts and the U of M dance programs respectively.
After college, Linda coached the Anoka High School dance line and has choreographed numerous musicals for local churches and community theatres.
She has taught dance at many studios in the Twin Cities area, including 14 years as owner and operator of Youngquist Performing Arts Company. She choreographed stage shows for local performers such as Dawn L. McArthur and the White Sidewalls. Additionally, amny of her students won awards at both state and national levels. Her students have performed at Disney World, the Vikings halftime show, and a TimberWolves game. Students of Linda’s have been seen performing in Branson, TV commercials, movies and industrial films. One of her vocal students had the honor of performing the National Anthem for game 7 of the 1991 World Series.
