Teresa Rolf, Owner, directorTeresa has been involved in the world of dance more than 56 years, 37+ of those years teaching.  Teresa, her husband Larry and daughter Corrie have built  Northland School of Dance into the thriving family oriented business it is today.

Teresa has trained with many reputable instructors and organizations including: Minnesota Dance Theater, Mr. Michael Schneider, Master John P. Hallahan, Dance Educators of America, NADAA, New York City Dance Alliance, LA Dance Force, LA Underground, LA Dance Magic, West Coast Dance Explosion, JUMP, and SHOCK.

Teresa has taught master classes for NADAA, choreographed for stage productions including: Funny Girl, Hello Dolly, Batman, A Chorus Line, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserable, and Jekyll and Hyde.  Her choreography has won countless recognition and her students have earned thousands of awards, scholarships, and titles, both regionally and nationally.

In addition to owner/operator of Northland School of dance, Teresa managed Spa Petit and Elaine Powers women’s spas, and for ten years co-owned and directed Minnesota’s Official Dance and Musical Arts Competition (MODMAC).

Teresa’s students have performed across the country and internationally for professional sports venues including: the Minnesota Thunder professional soccer team, Minnesota Timberwolves Dance Troup, Electric Stars, Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders, Kansas City Chiefs and the Olympic the venues of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.  They have been seen on television sitcoms, commercials, feature films, runways, live theatre, the Academy Awards, and Young Tanzsommer’s Dance Festival in Austria.
