We welcome our new Precious Gems dance teacher, Stephanie Meyer!

Stephanie Meyer - Special Needs Dance Instructor Northland School of Dance
Stephanie began dancing at the age of 3 in her hometown of Davenport, IA with the concentrations in tap, jazz, ballet, and pointe. During high school she was involved with dance teams, color guard, show choir, and musical theatre productions. Stephanie attended Wartburg College in Waverly, IA where she choreographed the college’s production of “Godspell” and was a member and choreographer for the Wartburg College Dance Team. She has also been a member of the All-Iowa Honor Dance Team and the All American Dance Team, performing at the 2002 Citrus Bowl in Orlando, FL. Stephanie moved to Minneapolis. MN to attend graduate school and received a Master of Arts in Occupational Therapy from St. Catherine University. As a pediatric occupational therapist, Stephanie enjoys incorporating dance into her daily practice to encourage kids to express themselves through creative movement. She is also a dance instructor for Dancercise Kids, an organization that introduces and teaches dance to young children. Stephanie is excited to be a part of the Northland community and to share her passion for dance with the students!
