Taylor grew up dancing at Dance by Kris in Cottage Grove, MN where she studied jazz, tap, lyrical, ballet and musical theater. As a competitive dancer, Taylor won a variety of overall placements, judges awards and scholarships through her solos and group dances. Taylor has also won the titles of High Point Title winner at Talent on Parade, Miss and Teen Miss Masquerade multiple years in a row and was national Sr. Division champion with her solo at Masquerade.
After high school Taylor started working for Masquerade dance competition as a backstage manager. For three seasons Taylor traveled the country working with a wide variety of dancers, teachers and studios. Taylor graduated in December of 2019 from Concordia University, St. Paul where she participated in a several dance shows and received a degree in communications with an emphasis on social media and media marketing.
This will be Taylor’s fourth year teaching and choreographing competitive dance and she is very excited to share her love and knowledge of dance with new students.
