Registration Fee
Registration Fee per student is $50 for the first family member, and $30 for each additional family member.

Tuition
Recreational Classes
Tuition is averaged over the course of 9 months, based on the number of hours the class meets per week. Classes and payments run from September – April if on a P3 and from September – May if NOT on a P3.

- 1 1/4 hour class $62/month
- 1 1/2 hour class $67/month
- 1 3/4 hour class $72/month
*Does not include costume, shoe, or production fees. These will be discussed on the first day of class and will be listed in your Student Handbook*
Technique Classes
Students may pay as they go at the rates below, or purchase a Drop-in Tech Class Punchcard. Punchcards are $99, valid for 10 punches – one punch per recreational technique classes. Drop-in Tech Class Punchcards are perfect and economical for students wanting dance training for a variety of reasons: a gymnast, skater, school dance line member, or students from a studio that does not have a tech program, you can all can enjoy our tech classes in our warm friendly atmosphere. Family Discount
- Second dancer from the same family receives 10% off lessons
- Third dancer from the same family receives 25% off lessons
- Fourth dancer from the same family receives 50% off lessons

A Token Of Thanks to our Armed Forces
Northland wishes to thank all the men and women serving our country in any branch of the armed forces. If your child has one or both parents currently deployed overseas, that child will have their dance classes offered at a 10% discounted rate during deployment from Northland for the 2022/2023 Dance Season. It is our way of saying THANK YOU for what has been given to us. Please contact the front desk for more information!
Northland School of Dance offers a 10% discount on the base tuition to any dancer whose parent is a police officer or firefighter.
2022 Fundraising Grant
Periodically Northland School of Dance is the recipient of grants and scholarship funds. We’d like to thank the MN Fundraising Initiative for a scholarship grant in 2022.
Year End Production
We are proud of our professionally staged Year End Production (YEP)! You will want your family and friends to attend the show, and they will want to come back for more!

Production Tickets: Reserved seating.
Unique Shows: Each show is unique yet similar and beautifully produced. To receive the full dance experience, we recommend recreational students attend one of the shows in which they do not perform.
Performance/Shows: Competition I, Competition II, and Pre-Competition level companies are in 3-4 shows. Recreational classes are in one show. Adults, Daddy/Daughter, Heartbreakers, Precious Gems, Pom, and Punks perform in 3-4 shows.
Production Free: $171.29 (estimated). Includes: five tickets, finale t-shirt, and a download link of all of the shows.
Multiple Family Members: To ensure family members dancing in RECREATIONAL CLASSES perform in the same Year End Production performance, be sure to enroll them in classes on the same day for their weekly lesson. This does not include competitive or specialty classes. If there are no sister/brother crossovers we will move classes as needed.
Picture Day
We take pride in our professionalism with dance education, performance quality, and our picture memories.
Professional photos will be taken by Agape Moments Photography to ensure your photo memories are beautiful and of the highest quality.
Dress Code
Dress code refers to classroom apparel, not costumes. Shoes and tights should be purchased through Northland School of Dance to ensure uniform color, style and proper fit. For your convenience, we carry additional dance wear items to save you time!
Non-Competitive Girls
Jam Babies, Little Rascals: Pink Ballet shoes, tan tap shoes, tights, any color leotard, hair pulled back.
LA Babes, Broadway Kids: Tan jazz shoes, tan tap shoes, tights, any color leotard, hair pulled back.
All Ballet Classes: Pink ballet shoes, pink tights, any black leotard, hair in neat bun
ATTIRE MUST BE FORM FITTING
Competitive Company Girls
All Companies: Turners, black tap shoes (Please speak with instructor for specific style before purchasing), hair pulled back.
All Ballet Classes: Pink ballet shoes, pink tights, any black leotard, hair in neat bun.
Choreography Rehearsal: Dress in black. Bring appropriate shoes.
Competitive groups may need to purchase additional shoes.
